The Inman Community is excited to see that the Spartanburg County Library system has begun activity for the new Inman branch. On August 19th Todd Stephens and the Library Board of Trustees hosted a wonderful groundbreaking ceremony. Head Librarian Todd Stephens spoke to the guests about the importance of the Inman branch and the strong history the library has in the City.
City Hall continues to see tremendous activity in the area of new house permits, business licenses, and inquiries about available commercial property. If you know any commercial property that is either sale or lease, please let City Hall know. We are always excited to connect buyers and sellers.
If you are a business owner in the downtown (Central Business District), please be on the lookout for a Notice of Road Closures for our Special Events: Cartoberfest on October 9th and Boo on Mill on October 30th. This letter is also available on our City website under Cartoberfest information. We thank you in advance for your support of these events.
Finally, we continue to look for new city staff. We have two open positions listed on the city website. Zoning Administrator and Economic Development Managers are both 20 hours a week jobs. These positions will be vital to our success and growth. www.cityofinman.com/employment.php
