A new library is planned in Downtown Inman at 50 Mill Street with construction to start this Spring. The new library will be built where the existing library has been located since 1991. It will be 11,900 sq. ft., about 5,000 sq. ft. larger than the existing library, with construction costs estimated at about $5.5 million. The architect of the project is MacMillan Pazdan Smith with Clayton Construction providing pre-construction services.
